I'm in town for several hours just to have some fun. The weather has turned much cooler but it feels good. Dad and the rest of the men are getting lots of things done. The Bible School has started with 4 students and that is a miracle. We thought it would be only 2 and then it would not be able to open until there were 3 students. So we are very happy. Dad and I are healthy and Dad just gets his arms and hands a bit cut up.. but that's what happens with carpenters.
It is so difficult to exist when the internet is so limited. But we are getting down to just 5 weeks left to go. The time is flying by!! School for Timmy has already started!! His Mom is schooling him. I'll send pictures later of that and of the Bible School. Dad made Timmy a little school desk and it is soooooooo cute!! Thanks so much for your prayers for us. I'm praying for you too. Yesterday I looked at the little video I had made of our trip to Hawaii. We'll never be able to capture that trip again but I cherish those memories. I miss so much not being with all of you.
WEll I'll close for now.
Lots of love to all of you....

Last week for the team

Well this has been the last week of the 2008 Siberia Boot Camp. Today the American team is doing their last work day, then they'll pack up their stuff, leave the the camp at 7:30 and head to the airport for a5 am Friday flight to Geneva, Switzerland via Frankfurt, Germany.Yesterday was a lot of taking things down and putting away in the container... as you can see the kitchen was dismantled and put in a much smaller place. A deck is being built for easy access into the building, the last of the debrief classes for the Russians teams. One interesting thing.. we thought, is their raisin bread. It is delicious but they seem to put it in one place and each slice gets one raisin!! And the last one is a funny thing... Eivind gouged himself on some screws and then had green iodine applied!! He's a true looking Russian that way!

Taking a Break

The first 2 pictures are of the Russian girls resting upstairs in the house. The weather has turned rather cool, so just after lunch they were taking a little break to warm up. In the third picture is a team sitting at their eating site just chatting. But just off to the left you can see one Russian boy having fun wrestling with a little American boy... what else do boys like to do, especially when one of them is only 6 years old!!!

Lufthansa announced a strike this past Monday and Praise the LORD as of today it's over!! So there was nothing to have worried about.

The first picture is the stove for the banya... it was VERY heavy!! The second one is Anatolie installing the stove... the bottom part is where they burn the wood and the top is a stainless steel reservoir for the water. When it is finished it will be the fanciest banya in all of Krasnaya Niva and maybe even Shadrinsk!!!
