We needed this...

Digging to bring water into the house instead of borrowing from next door. Water actually had gotten into the house, just hours before we left on Sept 30. Praise the LORD.

I am so glad that you finally got water. It is such an essential part of life. I guess you can always borrow, but so much nicer to have your own.

what room are you working in? The dirt looks so fertile! Not like Tennessee clay.

It was such a pain to borrow water, especially because they need water too and many times the hose was being used by them! It had to be hauled by buckets. Dad cut the floor in the "sitting room" it was the space in between our bedroom and the Petersens bedroom!! Poor Steve standing in that cold water to try and make the connection. Yes, the dirt is very fertile but also slick as snot after a rain and stuck to your boots real think like clay. And the reason for all the water, that is the level of the water table!!!!!
