Last week for the team

Well this has been the last week of the 2008 Siberia Boot Camp. Today the American team is doing their last work day, then they'll pack up their stuff, leave the the camp at 7:30 and head to the airport for a5 am Friday flight to Geneva, Switzerland via Frankfurt, Germany.Yesterday was a lot of taking things down and putting away in the container... as you can see the kitchen was dismantled and put in a much smaller place. A deck is being built for easy access into the building, the last of the debrief classes for the Russians teams. One interesting thing.. we thought, is their raisin bread. It is delicious but they seem to put it in one place and each slice gets one raisin!! And the last one is a funny thing... Eivind gouged himself on some screws and then had green iodine applied!! He's a true looking Russian that way!

Brrr...looks like the kids are cold! They sure have accomplished a lot of work in these past few weeks. Hi Nathan!! I see you :-) Dad is always getting banged up. That iodine looks terrible!! :-)

Are you sure it is iodine? That is funny about the bread. Maybe raisins are expensive. I remember when I was there they saved everything. If we spilled salt off of our plates they would put it back in the shakers.

Dear Nyla..
Thanks for writing. It is much more difficult now to write since we are living in the village. But village life is great! We have just a little more than 2 weeks left and Eivind has lots he wants to finish up. I'll send a long update after we get back. Thanks for your prayers!!!
